Zielona Góra county (Powiat Zielonogórski) consists of the communes
(gminy) Babimost, Bojadła, Czerwieńsk,
Kargowa,
Nowogród Bobrzański, Sulechów, Świdnica, Trzebiechów,
Zabór, Zielona Góra (incl. Ochla). Zielona
Góra city is a city with county-rights, which does not belong to Zielona
Góra county.
Zielona Gora county uses a very modern flag design. Three diagonal
stripes on yellow cloth. Blue stripes symbolise the rivers Oder and Bobr,
green the vegetation of the region.
The county flag was adopted on 29 June 2000.
