Zielona Góra city flag

Zielona Góra is a county and a city with county-rights, but it is not part of Zielona Gora county.
The city flag of Zielona Góra has a yellow vertical stripe on hoist. It was adopted 30 June 1965 by the City Council.

Zielona Góra is the seat of Zielona Góra county; it is a former regional seat. A town since 1323, a vassal of the Czech kingdom since 1331, and annexed to Czechia in 1506 and to Prussia in 1742. In Poland after 1945. Ca. 115.000 inhabitants. German name: Grünberg in Schlesien.
