adopted ?
Stadler 1964-1972 says the flag of
Bremervörde is green and red with the arms, so I guess that it indeed exists.
(...) I wonder where the colour of the green stripe in the flag is taken
from, though. Bremervörde has town rights and is situated in Rotenburg
county.

From Ralf Hartemink's International
Civic Arms website: The arms are based on the oldest known seal of
the city, which is known since 1389. The seal and the arms show the image
of St. Peter, patron saint of the State of Bremen.
The Archbishops of Bremen built a castle, around which the city developed.
The composition was officially granted as arm in 1948.
Literature: Stadler 1964-1972.
