UFO Landing Pad flag of St. Paul, Alberta.
Darrell Neuman, 22 April 2006
St. Paul has the "World's First UFO Landing Pad", funded by the Canadian Government as a Centennial Project in 1967.
The flag also shows a native chief, a grain elevator and a fish.
The Town of St. Paul is about 200 km East of Edmonton on Highway 16, surrounded
by the County of St. Paul No. 19 (yes, the number is part of the full name, it
seems to date back to a time when the counties had only numbers and not names).
The town's website is http://www.town.stpaul.ab.ca
and the landing pad is shown at http://www.town.stpaul.ab.ca/vis_tourist_info.htm.
Population is 5200, and the main industries are farming, petroleum, and of course "UFO landings".
