Description of arms (German): In einem gespaltenen Schild vorne in Schwarz ein silberner gestürzter, geschmiedeter Nagel, hinten in Rot ein silbernes Tatzen-Kreuz mit größerem Längsbalken. [1] [2]
Blazoning of arms (English): Per pale: dexter Sable, a nail point upwards Argent; sinister Gules, a cross patty Argent, the vertical bar longer than the horizontal one.
Adoption date of arms: 18 March 1928 (based on the old arms first attested 1592)
 
Description of flag: two stripes, black-red, with coat-of-arms [2] [3]

This one is particular, as already Ströhl in 1904 [stl04] mentions the flag, which is totally uncommon:
"Die Ortsflagge wird heute noch schwarz-rot geführt." (The village flag is still used in black-red.)
