The Top of Texas Rural Rail District, which serves Hansford, Ochiltree, and Lipscomb Counties, Texas, has adopted a flag:

Be it resolved, that on the 17th day of August, 2006, the Board of Directors of the Top of Texas Rural Rail District, enacted the following:

"The flag of the Top of Texas Rural Rail District shall be a rectangular shape with three horizontal stripes. The top stripe shall be white and bear a gold star in the center symbolizing the northernmost region of the State of Texas. The middle stripe shall be blue and the bottom red to complete the colors of the Texas flag."

Ron Hillbig, Secretary
David Scott, 14 August 2006

It's a nice looking flag, though the gold on silver is unfortunate. Given that Russia is a very long way from Texas (in all senses), I don't suppose they are aware that they have invented what ought to be the rank flag of a one-star Russian general.
André Coutanche, 15 August 2007
