Based on http://www.aristaflag.com/subgroups/municipal.html using seal from Bam Graphics

Description of the flag

Dark green flag with ratio ~5:8 and large seal over all (diameter: 2/3 of the flag's height). The seal shows a sunset (or sunrise) scene with snowy mountain and rolling river surrounded by a wide border divided in a white part (from 8 o'clock to 4 o'clock) reading "GREENE COUNTY" in tan serif capitals between two scrolls and a tan part (from 4 o'clock to 8 o'clock) reading "1800" and "NY" in black serif capitals separated by a double scroll; all around a thinner rim, white with black lining, filled with 51 tan fleurs de lis pointing to the outside.
