Maharishi Vedic city is the newest municipality in Iowa. It is an official city, recognized by the state and federal government. It is close to Fairfield and its flag is based on Yogi and that stuff etc. I wonder if the flag of the Global Country is the same with the city flag of Vedic.

Valentin is absolutely correct. See the news article at http://www.alltm.org/zarticles/vedic_city.html. I'm amazed that church-state issues were not raised over this, but I suppose the promoters maintain that is a philosophy and not a religion. I did find photos of both flags, in contexts which suggest one might have been the city flag and the other the "Global Country" or other movement flag, but not clear-cut proof.

The state of Iowa does recognize this as legally distinct from Fairfield (they probably formed on unincorporated nearby land). They have a population of 85. I have attached a photo of the mayor, with the flag behind him.
