City Seal

And concerning the seal:

"Lake Park - More than a century after Lake Park was put on the map, the City has a new seal. For the last six months, Lake Park's flag and seal committee teamed up with Valdosta Technical College students to design the city's seal which was officially unveiled over the holiday weekend. The new seal depicts a sailboat, a train, and a tree. Symbols they say represent the tools that have assisted in the City's growth over the last 100 years. "It represents past, present, and future. All these 3 symbols, of course its surrounded by the welcoming arch which represents the friendliness of the people of the City of Lake Park," said Ken Sherrill, Chairman of the seal and flag committee. The Lake Park City Council will meet tonight to vote on a new flag that will come out later this year."
