"In October 23 1996 the session of the village council approved the gonfalon: a square yellow canvas with a ratio of 1:1. From the top corners to the middle of the bottom edge there is green wedge, in the center of which there is yellow sword with an edge turned down. The author is Yu.Terlets'kyi."

"City in Rivne Oblast. The settlement is known since 1113. In 1475 in Klevan the castle was built by the prince Chartoryis'kyi."
