Slovinky municipality flag

I got an off-list contribution from David Novak in Georgia (US).  He mailed me an image of the COA and flag of Obec Slovinky - he says its in Czech Rep, but the style of flag looks suspiciously Slovakian to me. David writes, "Mayor of Slovinky told me that the top colour on flag and coat of arms is gold, not yellow. From what I was told it's St. George representing 'good' on the horse with this victory over 'bad' as he slays the dragon. Two hammers on crest represent the two types of mining from that village."

I received a email from the translator dealing with my English/Slovak emails with the mayor of Slovinky. It has been brought to my attention that I made a mistake on that information with the coat of arms.  So I will now type the corrected information from Mayor Michal Pacan:
"There is one mistake in the description of the coat of arms - Two hammers do not represent two types of mining, they represent two VILLAGES-  Vysne (Upper) Slovinky and Nizne (Lower) Slovinky.  These two villages existed in the past, then they merged to one "Slovinky".
One more information can be added to the description.  These three colors on flag and coat of arms-  green, black and gold are mining colors and they are used because Slovinky is a mining village."
