Stanič & Jakopič [j2s05] give the adoption date of the symbols of Naklo as 17 October 1996.
According to Gogala [gog02], the flag of Naklo is in proportions 1:3, horizontally divided blue-white-blue, the lower blue stripe being of
double width (that is 1:1:2), and with the municipal coat of arms off-set to the hoist. The coat of arms is set with its vertical axis on the 1/3 of the
length with the coat of arms' fields counterchanging the stripes.
