After reviewing 150 proposals, the commission has decided to accept the proposal submitted by the Belgrade architect Nikola Vujisić. On the emblem, the white cross and the four firesteels from the national coat of arms are on a red background with the golden frame and golden ball in the middle of the cross. The Cyrillic name of the country is placed above in white on a golden background.
The flag is blue with with a golden fringe and the emblem in the middle. The fringe is part of the flag, only intended for indoor use.
