Giżycko commune flag
From Flagdatabank 11, Dec 1999: "On 30 June 1999 Giżycko adopted
a new flag: gyronny resulting in twelve triangles, white alternating with
light blue, charged with the CoA, which is horizontally divided. The white
upper part is charged with a black cormorant, the light blue lower part
with a white fish."
The CoA is from this
site with Polish and German text, where one can learn that the German
name of this commune in Warminsko-Mazurskie vojvodship is Lötzen.
It is in the Giżycko county.
