An unusual flag is presented by the commune of Płaska, in Augustów county, Podlaskie wojwodship (that's in the northeastern corner of Poland near the Lithuanian border), see the commune's website.

Description: green, near the bottom a wavy white stripe; in center a yellow boat carrying a yellow cross (or gallows?), holding a yellow "M" - the "M" seems to be taken from the arms of Pope John Paul II.

CoA: vert, a wavy fess argent, in chief a flatbottom boat carrying a gallows (?) holding an "M", all or; in base a hearth argent holding a flame or.
