Grajewo county
Grajewo County (Polish: powiat grajewski) is a unit of territorial
administration and local government (powiat) in Podlachian Voivodeship
(Polish: Województwo podlaskie), north-eastern Poland. It was created
on 1 January 1999 as a result of the Local Government Reorganization Act
of 1998. Its administrative seat and largest town is Grajewo.
The county is subdivided into six communes (one urban, two urban-rural
and three rural).
Grajewo city, Grajewo commune, Radziłów, Rajgród, Szczuczyn, W±sosz.
On 12 April 2008 the project about county symbols was published. The
new county flag is divided horizontally. The upper strip is yellow, the
lower strip is green. In the upper canton is the county CoA.
