Legionowo county flag
Here is the flag of Legionowo Powiat in Mazowieckie vojvodship. Flag and
CoA were adopted 27.August 2002.
"CoA of Powiat Legionowski (Legionowo County) is a silver eagle on
the light blue field, reminiscent of the eagles placed on the caps of the
soldiers of the 1st Brigade of the Legions (Joseph Pilsudski-1917) between
the pastoral with the golden cross and the silver sword with the golden
handle.
Flag of the Legionowo County is a rectangular sheet of cloth 5:8 containing
on the light blue field two horizontal stripes in width equal to 1/8 of
the with of flag: upper one white, lower one yellow, located in the distance
of 1/4 with of the flag respectively from the upper and lower edge of it.
The details of the CoA are supposed to have some connection to
the history of the "Land of Legionowo."
