Here is the flag of Nowogrodziec Commune (urban-rural) in Boleslawiec County,
Dolnoslaskie Voivodship. Old German name: Naumburg am Queis.
The flag was adopted on 30 September 2003.
The Statut says about it: "white with the red, horizontal band of the
1/4 width of the total flag, placed on the 1/4 of the flag's height, counting
from the top.
Colors of the flag are prescribed by the colors of the Arms.
According to the heraldic norms, the color of the armorial shield gives
the color of the lower zone of the flag while the color of the Arms gives
it to the upper zone.
Old CoA of Rechenberg Family (later of the city) is silver (white)-(goat)
and red (heraldic shield)."
