CARAGA, Philippines

The group of four Philippine provinces known as CARAGA is located at the northern extremity of the island of Mindanao. The provinces are:
  • Agusan del Norte - comprising Butuan City (the administrative center) plus eleven municipalities
  • Agusan del Sur - comprising fourteen municipalities, of which Prosperidad is the administrative seat
  • Surigao del Norte - twenty-seven municipalities plus the administrative seat, Surigao City
  • Surigao del Sur - in nineteen municipalities, of which Tandag is the administrative seat of the province.
