Maritime timetable images shoe Klaveness Line (A.F. Klaveness & Co. A/S, Oslo) having red swallowtail with broad blue horizontal edges, a large white letter `K' in the middle.

The firm was located at Sandefjord before moving to Kristiania (Oslo) in 1910. And then, of course, the on-line 1912 Lloyd's Flags & Funnels shows a rectangular flag (No. 734).

A letter of reference to Carrell & Co. (Greek ship repair company). This letter is dated 22 July 1969 whereas the Maritime Timetable image shows a schedule dated 1 April 1951.

So at some point between 1926 and 1951 the swallowtail was introduced.
