Overview

I was lucky enough to have a honeymoon in september in Martinique. We visited almost every city and village in the island, and saw local flags only in Fort-de-France and Saint-Pierre.

Fort-de-France

Logo from http://www.mairie-fort-de-france.fr

Fort-de-France, main city (more than 100.000 inh.) and "chef-lieu" of Martinique uses a logo on white field. It is flown near the biggest place of the city, the "place de la Savane", along with many Caribbean flags (Haiti, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Saint-Lucia, Dominica...), a French and a european one, if I remember well, and a "Welcome flag" which is white with the word "BIENVENUE" and the border of which is made of Caribbean states flags. You can see a part of it on the my photo, behind the flag of Fort-de-France. The logo of Fort de France may be found on its website http://www.mairie-fort-de-france.fr (appears the same on the flag, except the "République Française" on the top).

Saint-Pierre

Coat of Arms from http://www.saint-pierre-2002.org

In Saint-Pierre (5,000 inh (30,000 before the eruption of the Montagne Pelee in 1902) , there is a flag flown near the city hall. It is obviously was white field with a blue coat of arms as can be seen in my photo.
The coat of arms of Saint-Pierre is azure with golden caduceus (?). You can find it at http://www.saint-pierre-2002.org.
