Northeastern Region

Macedonia is divided in eight arbitrary statistical regions. The Northeastern Region has a border with Bulgaria and Serbia.
The municipalities in the Northeastern Region are:

• Kriva Palanka / Крива Паланка
• Lipkovo / Липково
• Staro Nagoričane / Старо Нагоричане
• Rankovce / Ранковце
