The flag of Novaci, as shown on the Macedonian Ministry of Local
Self-Government website (page no longer online), is red with an asymmetrical yellow sun with 16
yellow rays. Over the sun is placed a blue Cyrillic letter Н (Latin,
N), whose horizontal arm is charged with the name of the municipality
in white Cyrillic letters.
The emblem is based on the municipal arms, which are shown on the Heraldry in Macedonia website.

Flag of Bač - Image by Mello Luchtenberg & António Martins, 12 September 2006
The municipality of Bač (963 inhabitants in 1994) was incorporated into Novaci in 2004.
The flag of Bač, as shown on the Macedonian Ministry of Local
Self-Government website (page no longer online), is in proportion 3:5, diagonally divided blue over green. The lower right quarter of a yellow sun is placed in the canton of the flag, from which eight yellow rays stretch over the whole flag.
The sun clearly recalls the Macedonian national flag.
