Flag of Aerodrom

The municipal flag of Aerodrom was adopted by the Municipal Council on 18 November 2005. It was designed by Nikola Fidanovski and Zoran Todorovski. The flag is yellow and red, the national colours. In the center is the municipal coat of arms. It has 13 sunrays, symbolizing the day of the municipality, 13 March. The shield is red with white borders on both sides. In the middle is a stylized white letter "A" as the first letter of the name Aerodrom. The sun symbolizes the life and liberty.
The symbols (flag and coat of arms) of Aerodrom were abolished by the Municipal Council on 4 January 2006, due to irregularities during the contest.
The Municipality of Aerodrom readopted on 31 August 2006 the same flag that had been adopted in November 2005 and proclaimed illegal in January 2006. The commission for the coat of arms and flag chose on 23 August the best design from those sent for the contest and the Council adopted them on 31st August 2006. The author of the symbols is Ljupco Dzurovski.
