Banner of the arms

The arms are azure with three scythes vertically. The arms have their origin in the arms of the nobles of Trisen, the oldest aristocratic family in Triesen. The first document where this family is mentioned is dated 1273. The arms of Triesen were adopted on the 23 June, 1956.

Wrong flag of Triesen

According some source, this flag is horizontal blue over white. It is possible that it is in fact a banner, not as flag.
