Kamogawa city in Chiba Prefecture adopted its emblem on 17 June 2005

No flag legislation but they use following flag as practice.

The emblem features the katakana of Kamagaya (&12459;マガヤ) clockwise starting from the top right, stylised and forming the general shape of a circle with arrows point out to the left (from the top) and right (from the bottom). According to, the circle expresses peace and the arrows depict development/growth. The emblem was chosen from a public competition.
