Liguria

Liguria regional flag is a vertical tricolor green-red-blue with the arms (a vessel) in the center. Sometimes the arms stay on the red stripe only and below them appear the words Regione Liguria. Lega Nord propose the flag for Liguria to be white, with the red cross (the old Genova flag), with St. George killing the dragon in the canton.
Mario Fabretto, 20 September 1996

The gonfalon and the emblem were adopted on the 15th January 1985. The emblem depicts a silver vessel with a white charged with a red cross and four mullets silver in each canton. The gonfalon is vertically green-red-blue with the emblem in the middle. The flag adopted on the 27th June 1997 is vertically green-red-blue with the emblem in the middle of the red stripe.
Pascal Vagnat, 22 September 1998

About Liguria, it was reported that the blue was changed to white. Any confirmation?
Jaume Olle 25 September 1998

No. The law concerning the flag say that the flag is green-red-blue. Nothing other was issued. You can look in the official website of Liguria which has a database of its laws at <www.regione.liguria.it>.
Pascal Vagnat, 26 September 1998

According to <www.regione.liguria.it>, the region may adopt a new flag, red cross on white, in the future.
Pascal Vagnat, 2 May 2003

The flag of the Regione Liguria can be seen on ItalianWikipedia. It is slightly different from the above; the arms fit exactly into the middle stripe.
