Symbolism of the Coat of Arms: The five stars in the red field relate to the five historically noble family of the village. The gold laurel wreath with the silver sword, which was symbol on the cap of the Hungarian soldiers in 1848-49 (war of independence), relates to the celebrity of the village, Miklo's Hertelendy colonel of the Hungarian Army in 1848. The wavy silver stripe relates to the Cinca Brook, and the three gold wheat-stalk relates to the agriculture. Under the shield is the name of the village.
