I have found a photo of a
flag at <www.kemma-auf-wudigess.de>.
This flag is different from the flag of the settlement. The
inscription is German on the flag. I THINK this flag and CoA is
the flag and CoA of the German Etnic Minority Council of
Budakeszi/Wudigess.

I was born in Hungary (1947) and am living in Germany with my
family since 1989. My ancestors were living, since 1724 in
Budakeszi/Wudigess. Therefore this homepage about this nice
little town. Among ten tousands of German immigrats the first
Albrechts left Oberstadion, near Ulm Germany to Hungary after the
Turkish troops were beaten. During the 150 years Turkish
occupation Hungary lost almost ist total population. After the WW
II a great part of the Hungarian citizens with German origin, was
expelled from its home back to Germany. So happend it also in
Budakeszi/Wudigess. The expelled people from Budakeszi/Wudgess
have established a society "Budakesser Gemeinschaft".
They have designed this flag. Their own flag is what you have
found in my web site.
About the flag - The inscripiton is really German: Wudigess
Budakszi (its German name Wudigess), Ofner Bergland (Budai
Hegyvidék = mountains around Buda, where you can find
Budakeszi/Wudigess, as well). The Flag shows the roman chatolic
church in Budakeszi/Wudigess, and the mountains arround. The
highest is the János hegy/Johannisberg (John Montain).
Two dates are besides the church: 1698 and 1946. 1698 is the year
of the arrival of the first German colonists Budakeszi/Wudigess.
1946 is the year , when a lot of Hungarian citizens with German
descent were expelled from Budakeszi/Wudigess.
