Overview

Ljubešcica is a community in the Varaždin County, 20 km south east of Varaždin, 2,000 inhabitants, 1,300 in the village of the same name.
The coat of arms of Ljubešcica is: sable a goute d'eau fimbriated or. The flag of Ljubešcica is white with the coat of arms bordered yellow in the middle. Ratio 1:2.
Although it seems that it should be easy to try to reconstruct this flag from description only, I do not dare to do it before seeing some picture of the coat of arms first.
The symbols were adopted on 1st August 2006, published in the official gazette of the County: Odluka o opisu i uporabi grba i zastave Opcine Ljubešcica, 1. kolovoza 2006, Službeni vjesnik Varaždinske županije, br. 20/06, 16.08.2006.

The flag is described according to the adoption decision, but Marko Vitez now sent me the photo of the actual flag hoisted in the building of teh Counyt Assembly in Varaždin.
The coat of arms is sable a goute d'eau fimbriated or that is green with a white drop and teh shield bordered yellow. The flag of Ljubešcica is described white with the coat of arms bordered yellow in the middle, however, the actual flag on the photo does not have yellow bordering around the already yellow bordered shield, but a black line instead of it, and I follow that design.

Coat of Arms and flag were designed by Heraldic Art d.o.o from Rijeka and approved by the Ministry of Administration/Central State Office for Administration before 2006.
