Overview

Crnac is a community in the Virovitica and Podravina county some 40 km southeast of Virovitica. Population about 2,000 only about 700 in the village of the same name. The web site of the County showes the Coat of Arms of the community that is probably adopted around 2000 together with a flag. The coat of arms is green with two golden branches in saltire.

The branches are not of the same kind of tree, but  am not sure that I can identify the dexter one. Could someone recognize it? Would this be a hazelnut?
The flag is yellow with the coat of arms in the middle.

The leaves on the two branches are from oak, and there is no other common species of tree with such leaves.
Ivan Sache, 21 April 2005

Coat of Arms and flag were designed by Heraldic Art d.o.o from Rijeka and approved by the Ministry of Administration/Central State Office for Administration before 2006.
