Overview

Koška is a community in the Osijek-Baranja County, about 30 km due west of Osjiek on a main road from Zagreb through Podravina (Podravska magistrala) and on the railroad Zagreb-Osijek, counting some 4,500 inhabitants, some 2,000 in the village of the same name.
As it might be figured out from the community symbols, it is a rich agricultural region with maize being the main product.
The symbols of Koška must have been adopted some time around 2002.
The coat of arms of Koška is: azure three maize ears flanked with two leaves or issuant from a mount vert. The flag is blue with the coat of arms bordered yellow in the middle.
