Overview

The coat of arms pictures the source under a pavilion in front of the hills. The source stands for the spas (toplice meaning thermal spa), while the pavilion is probably one made in XIX century when thermal tourism made the place flourish. The flag is light blue with the coat of arms in the middle, reported in use both vertically and horizontally. In use: since at least 1995.
Source: Coat of arms from the Web 1997, flag info from Tomislav Weisenzell.

At the web site of the County <www.kr-zag-zupanija.hr> there are available official gazettes since 2001 from which mostly this is compiled to update info we currently have.
Stubicke Toplice - Statut Opcine Stubicke Toplice, 22.10.2001, Službeni glasnik Krapinsko-zagorske županije, br. 6/02, 10.04.2002.
The statutes include the description of the coat of arms and the flag in article 5, though they must have been adopted prior to this. The flag is described to have size of 150x300 cm with the coat of arms in the middle sized 50x60 cm.
