Kraljevec na Sutli is a community in the
krapina-Zagorje County, some 20 km north west of Zagreb, as the
name tells, on the Sutla river, and that means also on the border
towards Slovenia.
The coat of arms used is rather artistic and it is highly
probable not confirmed by the Ministry. I seems to remember that
I read somewhere that the deisgner was a monk or a nun, but I
can't locate the article any more...
The coat of arms is per pall, dexter chequy gules and argent and
sinister and religious alegory (if that is appropriate
description). It is topped with a green ribbon inscribed the name
of the community with the fly ending in the tricolour.

At the web site of the County <www.kr-zag-zupanija.hr>
there are available official gazettes since 2001 from which
mostly this is compiled to update info we currently have.
Kraljevec na Sutli - Statut Opcine Kraljevec na Sutli,
21.09.2001, Slubeni glasnik Krapinsko-zagorske
upanije, br. 14/01, 31.10.2001.
No description of the symbols there but there is in article 4
claim that the coat of arms of the community is the histroical
coat of arms of the community. Now, we know that they are using a
modern quasi-heraldic coat of arms and this can hardly be a
historical coat of arms. For what I am aware, there is highly
unlikely that there is no such thing and that the claim is just
copied without much thinking from some "template
statutes". Similar statements are found in many other
communities which just as well do not have any historical coat of
arms.
