Overview

The community Konjšcina (Konjs<c<ina) is in Krapina-Zagorje County. The root of the name means horse (konj), so what's next is not unexpected. The coat of arms is vert a horse head erased argent pierced with an arrow and voulned gules. The flag is green with white bordered coat of arms off-set to hoist. The Coat of Arms is based on several low quality images (probably scans from community letterhead) found on the net long time ago. The flag is based on a report from a visitor of my site. If the flag is used it means that most probably the Coat of Arms and the flag are adopted and approved by the Ministry, but I have no data on that.

The Statutes of the community: Statut Opcine Konjšcina, 28.11.2001, Službeni glasnik Krapinsko- zagorske županije, br. 17/01, 05.12.2001, does not describe the symbols, but includes the reference to the decision adopting them: Odluka o grbu i zastavi Opcine Konjšcina, Službeni glasnik Krapinsko- zagorske županije, br. 24/96 i 3/97 at <www.kr-zag-zupanija.hr>.
