Donji Kraljevec is a community in the Medimurje County, some
20 km east of Cakovec. Population
about 5,300, some 1,600 in the town of the same name.
The Coat of Arms and the ceremonial flag are
shown on the web site of
the community where there are also some photos that give hint
that the flag is standard as could be expected.
The coat of arms of Donji Kraljevec is: argent a horse sable
rampant and in a chief vert a crown or. The crown is canting the
name of the community (Kraljevec would be something like
"King's Town"). The flag is green with the yellow
bordered coat of arms in the middle. The Ceremonial
Flag is a green gonfalon ending triangualrly with golden
fringe with the coat of arms in the middle the name of the
community above and an oak branch and a sheaf of wheat below it.

According the decisions: Odluka o grbu Opcine Donji Kraljevec,
9. 12. 2004. Slubeni glasnik Medimurske upanije, br.
16/04 and Odluka o zastavi Opcine Donji Kraljevec, 9. 12. 2004.
Slubeni glasnik Medimurske upanije, br. 16/04 at <glasnik.zupanija-medjimurska.hr>,
the symbols were adopted on 9 December 2004. However, the flag is
not green as we assumed from the drawing of the ceremonial flag
shown at the municipal web site, but it is clearly described as
white with the yellow boredred coat of arms in the middle. The
ceremonial flag is also described in the decision, but its
colour, somehow, is not mentioned.

The symbols were designed by the Heraldic
Art d.o.o. from Rijeka.
