The house flag of the company Société Les Affrêteurs Réunis, as seen on a company share from the CollectStocks website, has a dark field with three white stars in upper left corner, placed 2 and 1; in a diagonal from lower left to upper right, the white letters C.A.R.
Lloyd's book of house flags and funnels of the principal steamship lines of the world and the house flags of various lines of sailing vessels, published at Lloyd's Royal Exchange. London. E.C. (1911), also available online thanks to the Mystic Seaport Foundation, shows the house flag of Société Les Affrêteurs Réunis (# 1102, steamships section) with a green field.

The company was still operating in 1937 according to Lloyds Telegraphic addresses though they do not indicate in what capacity. According to Lloyds the flag was also used by E. Anquetil.

E. Anquetil's Société Les Affrêteurs Réunis of E. Anquetil went bankrupted in 1923. In 1924, Les Affrêteurs Français was created. According to a company share, the house flag of the new company is green with three stars in canton and the white letters CAF. The company had connections with Chastellain, an other shipowner from Rouen, in 1957.
