Euronor is the short name for Comptoir des Pêches d'Europe du Nord (Fishing Union of Northern Europe), a fishing company formed in January 2006 by the merging of two large fishing companies from Boulogne-sur-Mer, Société Boulonnaise d'Armement Le Garrec, founded in 1920, and Nord Pêcheries, founded in 1945.

The house flag of Euronor is dark blue with a white diamond and a red star. This flag combines elements of the house flags of the two companies merged to form Euronor; its design similar to the flag of the Compagnie des Bateaux à Vapeur du Nord, once based in the neighbouring port of Dunkirk is coincidental, as confirmed by a manager of Euronor.
