[Region Bretagne]by Vincent Morley

The Region uses the modern Breton flag (Gwenn-ha-Du). The decision to put it in the session room of the Regional Council was taken on 30 June 1997.

Flag of the Regional Council

The flag was created by the agency Energie and officially adopted in 1988. It roughly represents a map of Brittany, with the two blue stripes symbolizing the Channel and the Atlantic Ocean.
