This flag is a plain white flag charged with the Sacred Heart of Vendée. It is mainly used by the extremists.

This is a Tricolore used by traditionalists who accept the French Republic. It appears as a sticker on many cars in Versailles, which is a 'focus' of Catholic traditionalism. The flag is sometimes charged with mottos in golden letters like 'Hope for the France'.. The flag is often used in general Catholic events (such as visits of the Pope). It is also used in demonstrations of the Front National (who claims to be republican).

This flag was used during the consecration of a new church by traditionalists near Paris. It is clearly non-republican.

Breton traditionalists

Breton traditionalists uses three different flags:

  • a white field with a black centred cross and a red Sacred Heart in each quarter

  • a white field with a black centred cross, eleven ermine spots (3 + 4 + 3) in first and fourth quarters, and a red Sacred Heart in the two other quarters.
