Description

San Javier is a municipality in the Autonomous Community of Murcia, very near the border with Alicante province. Its flag is light blue over blue with the coat-of-arms in the centre. I saw it at the coastside resort of Santiago de la Ribera.

The motto reads La albufera me dió vida, dos torres fortaleza i.e. "the coastal marsh gave me life, two towers strength".
