Description

Red flag with a yellow border as wide as 1/6 of the flag's height. On each angle a blue chessrook as high as 1/7 of the flag's height and separated from the top and bottom by 1/42 [of the flag's height?]. On the red field, two yellow ears of barley, placed on [imaginary] diagonal lines running from the top hoist to a point on the bottom distant 1/3 of the flag's length from the fly and from a point on the top distant 1/3 of the flag's length from the hoist to the bottom fly. Ratio 2:3.

The flag is almost a banner of the arms (blazoned Gules two barley ears Or on a bordure of the same four chessrooks Azure). The ears of barley (espigues d'ordi) are the traditional canting arms and the chessrooks represent the Rocabertí family, former lords of Ordis. Flag adopted 12th July 1995.
