Description

Light blue flag, on the canton a yellow saltire [couped], its arms as wide as 1/12 of the flag's height, centred on the top half of the hoist third. The fly third is yellow with four vertical stripes. Ratio 2:3.

The flag is almost a banner of the arms (blazoned Azure a saltire couped Or, the base Or four pallets Gules). The saltire is that of St Vincent and the yellow-red stripes remember that the municipality was formerly the centre of a royal bailiwick. Flag adopted 29th May 1996. Source for image and text: Fluvià 2001.

It is noteworthy that most shades of blue in Fluvià 2001 are described as simply 'blue' (blau) even though they are illustrated as light, medium and dark blue. However, the flag of Camós is officially described as blau clara, 'light blue'.
