Description of flag: It is a quarterly divided flag. The upper hoist
and the lower flyend are red. The lower hoist and the upper flyend are
white. In the centre of the flag is the coat of arms of the city of Emden,
showing a crowned "harpie", that is a , in this case golden, eagle with
a woman's head in a black field. She is standing behind a red wall with
brickwork and pinnacles above blue water. The coat of arms is surrounded
by golden decorations and topped by a crown.
Specials: The club was established as "Emder Ruderverein von 1906".
It merged with the "RC Ostfriesland" in 1924 and was called "Der
Emder Ruderverein". Since 1969 had been talkings with the "Emder
Damenruderverein 1913". Finally both clubs merged in 1977.

at the top and the bottom. In the centre of the flag is the coat of arms

is surrounded by golden decorations and topped by a crown. The coat of
arms is surrounded by black capital letters "ED" (hoist) and "RV" (flyend).
Specials: For females only, club merged with "Emder
Ruderverein" in 1977.
