Description of flag: It is a white flag with two horizontal red stripes
at the top and the bottom. In the centre of the flag is the coat of arms
of the city of Emden, showing a crowned "harpie", that is a , in this case
golden, eagle with a womans head in a black field. She is standing behind
a red wall with brickwork and pinnacles above blue water. The coat of arms
is surrounded by golden decorations and topped by a crown. The coat of
arms is surrounded by black capital letters "ED" (hoist) and "RV" (flyend).
Specials: For females only, club merged with "Emder
Ruderverein" in 1977.
