Flags and arms adopted 31 Jan 2005. The arms are based on a seal dating
from 1358.
Coat of arms: azure a round tower argent with two embattled floors
between which is a cross; the tower has a cupola vert topped or and an
opened gate; in front is dexter a kursaxon inescutcheon.
Flag: white and green, the Saxon "Landesfarben"; it may contain
in the center the city arms.
