The Gemeinde Kirchberg adopted arms on 28th September 1982, blazon: Azure, dexter a rural church issuant Argent domed onion-shaped Or; sinister a key Or and a sword point downwards proper, pommel and hilt Or in saltire. At the same time a flag of white-blue-yellow was adopted. It is used with the arms.
