By the end of the seventies it only flew the red logo on a white field.

Interflug airline. See two pages on FOTW-ws, the first one concerning
East German Lufthansa and the second, Interflug
itself. End of (second) page, Jens writes “end of the seventies it only
flew the red logo on a white field” but apparently the reverse colour scheme
was used, too – to be honest I have no idea when exactly.
See this image; red field, white logo i.e. stylized aircraft flying
to the left within an oval. Three metal grommets.
Source: German eBay offer no. 260119163152 (end 27 May 2007) put up
by “graveroad” who adds that this item came from Leipzig airport.
Dimensions given as 115 cm x 177 cm.
This is an Interflug fan
site (in German – very thorough): Have a look at Interflug
pennants (including IF that is to say, the agricultural branch).
