Karolinka is a small town in Vsetin okres in eastern Czechia, very near the Slovakian border. Flag, to be found on this website, where a heraldic sign and a flag were officially given to Karolinka by the Czech Parliament. The glass symbolizes glass-making tradition, the blue waves (resp. blue stripes on the flag) symbolize the Stanovnice Dam and the green background is meant to symbolize the nature mountains of Javorniky and Beskydy. In 1998 Karolinka was declared a town. The population is about 2950.
