Benešov u Semil flag

Benešov u Semil is a municipality in Liberec region (Semily okres) in the Czech Republic. Its flag and CoA were approved in April 2007 and published at the municipal website.
Flag: horizontal white - blue - red, proportioned 1:1:3; on white a blue lion passant, armed red; on red two yellow parallellograms.
The lion is of Markvartice; the blue stripe represents the Jizeru river (which is wavy on the arms). The dual partition refers to the villages of Horni Benešov and Dolni Benešov (High and Low Benešov).
