The first written record mentioning the village of Poříčí reaches back
to the beginning of the 14th century. A Saxon Renaissance-style chateau,
encircled by an extensive garden, forms the dominant feature of Červené
Poříči. The chateau interiors are decorated with wall paintings created
by the famous Baroque artist Joannes Georgius Major. The romantic environment
of the chateau garden tempts for long strolls.
